Re: pdf help
The PDF files don't have any vector information on raster data so there is no vector information to import into VCP.

Re: pdf help
How are you trying to open them?
That is a bitmap file so doesn't contain any vectors, if you zoom in you will see the lines are not broken, it just appears that way when viewing the whole image

Re: pdf help
The only way to convert to vectors with those files is to either trace them manually in VCarve or use the auto trace either in VCarve or one of the many tracing services. Those files are pretty poor quality so I wouldn't recommend the auto route.
You would need to go back to the original source for the files and see if they offer them in a vector format otherwise.

Re: pdf help
It already is a PDF file so you can't convert it to one
What you need to understand is that certain file types support both Vector & Bitmap data, PDF is one of those so a PDF file may contain all Vetor data, all Bitmap data or a combination of the two. This PDF file is all bitmap data so in order to work with vcarve for toolpathing those bitmaps must be converted to vectors by either using the auto trace or by drawing by hand using the bitmap as a template. This is a pretty easy job so I would recommend drawing by hand

Re: pdf help
Try these - I used a center line trace function so the dimensions should all be correct in relation to each piece - the actual size is for you to determine.

Re: pdf help
The unasked question would have to be: where did you get these PDFs from?
Perhaps they started life as a file that can be imported in to VCarve as vectors without having to go through all the error-prone hassle of trying to recreate those lines from the imprecise raster information in the PDF.
