v carve toolpath

Post by Brandon Collins »

Does anyone know if there is a way to use the vcarve toolpath but without the emptying part i just need the profile and for it to sharpen the corners.

Thanks

You could offset a vector inside the outer one and select those two vectors to machine between.

A profile toolpath setting the sharp corners options could also work depending on the look you're going for.

Use the VCarve toolpath. Use a V bit and a small diameter clearance tool. Run only the VCarve toolpath, not the clearance path.

There is also the "Corners" option if you use a Profile cut with a sharp V-bit

That option isn't visible to me unless I click on the ">". I wonder what else I've been missing.
