Sorry if it was answered here, but I do not found it from search
What is the difference between DEPTH FIRST and LEVEL BY LEVEL?
In my simulations both do the same.
I looked for about this in some videos and I also not found. Maybe there are, but so it is not easy to find.
Maybe it is for some specific situation, I don´t know.
Thanks
Alex

Re: DEPTH FIRST & LEVEL BY LEVEL
I can't explain it any better than the Help does:-
The second setting is the choice of Order. The Z Level can be performed in Level by level manner. This means to generate a complete pass at a given depth over the whole model, before advancing to the next level. This is the default option.
The user can also select Depth-first. In this case if at a given depth the model consists of separate regions, the generated toolpath will generate all passes at increasing depths over such region. Then it will advance to another such region.

Re: DEPTH FIRST & LEVEL BY LEVEL
Thank you for answer, and wher you found this information?
On my Help contents and videos I not found it.
Ok.. I tried different maners with more vectors but using just one clipart. Now I tried 2 clipart and all is clear!
I thought this was a way to choose the start level machining on the level I wish
To do that I still need do some changes in the GCode or use slices
Or that is there and I am being stupid in these last years
Thank you so much
