Design screen color

Post by cusoak »

On the design screen the color there is such that it is hard for me to see the grid dots because of the screen color .
I there some way to change the colors Say make the design area white and the dots black.
Would this be a changed in the program if so where might I find the settings to change.
thanks Jeff

There isn't a way to change that currently. Are you sure you have your monitor colour, contrast and brightness set correctly? I don't use the grid personally but if I turn it on I can see it very clearly.

Yesterday, i sent vectric support a feature request for this same thing. Maybe more requests to support asking for this moves it up the priority list....

You can create, say, a 0.25” square, put it on a Layer with a light blue color selected, then do an Array/Copy to cover the entire workspace. Lock that Layer to avoid accidental selection while you work, and set your Snap Grid to match your square size (0.25” in this example).

Now you have a “faux graph paper” as a visual. You can do an Array Copy of darker-color blue lines at say, 1” intervals, too (lock that Layer as well).
