I like how the wood grain interacts with the design. I boosted the Z by 2X on this one.

Question for Randall,
When you buy a model from cnc3dartscom, what is it exactly that you actually get.
Reason I ask is when I bought a model from them, it said that it would be sent to me in a few days.
I'm not understanding why it would not be a direct download.
I bought the Marine emblem for $1.20, (which seems really cheap)

Jan
I usually get an email with the link within 24 hours. But occasionally it has taken up to 72 hours. It appears to be a manual process.

I’ve had other sellers email me asking if I understand that this will be a downloadable file and not the object itself. Apparently some people expect the actual item.

Randy,
Thanks for the response.
I guess I'll just wait to see what happens.

I carved this one again with the settings tuned a bit better.

Way to Go Randall!! :)
Major difference..I was beginning to think you'd run up against Redwoods limits :(

The Tweaking never ends :D
My experiments with Brady's VR settings were intriguing on air cuts, and actually got one of his "Aggressive" settings at a Feed that air cut sounded OK.
40% faster would have been NICE!
But in first Sugar Maple test cut with short 1mmTBN
2.9.20 SMALL HARLEY FRONT 2 1MM ROUGH FINISH AGGRESSIVE 1.jpg
I had saved his "Standard 3D Tweaks" VR settings, so second exact same file with Z cheated down the other half of depth with Standard settings.
Brushed and LinWaxed :( Only 20% faster for the cut....BUT I can live with it for a Rough Finish...Just have to use thicker allowance than my Default settings;
2.9.20 SMALL HARLEY FRONT 2 1MM ROUGH FINISH STANDARD TWEAK 1.jpg
Used Dust Foot on both. JUST about to try Brady's Standard 3D Tweaks for the .25mmTBN(short) for a Finish Finish wet cut...hope it cuts well!
I'll inspect 20 minutes in....Tweaking always teaches you Something :)

MUCH better Randall!! :)

What changes did you make?
In the finish pass
was: 10% stepover and 90 IPM
now: 8% stepover @240 IPM
