I've seen it ..but very early in my learning curve so did not "retain it" ..heck ...didn't know it would be important .. I use a Piranha FX with a Makita router/spindle (extremely quiet) ..I am building one after another small wood parts 2"X3" ..I have decided to go from .25 end mill for roughing to a >
.25 up spiral ball nose for roughing with 40% stepover and use the same tool for finish with a 9% stepover
I will then put my vacuum and spindle (neither automatically turn off at the end of a tool path run on a Piranha XL) on a timer managed electrical outlet IF I can tie the rough and finish tool paths together to run concurrently and do the hand finishing on the piece that just completed
How do I tie the rough and finish tool paths together so my controller reads it as one function
Thanks
Bear

In the Save Toolpaths dialog, there is a checkbox "Output all visible toolpaths to one file".Brokenbear wrote:How do I tie the rough and finish tool paths together so my controller reads it as one function
