Thanks guys!!
I was lucky to pull this one out of my hat
From the saturated punk wood carving detail well...to looking out back window to birds perching on the brush pile..and getting Twig idea
Yep Dan...in Summer when windows are open...we hear them all the time....but Seeing them is another thing altogether.
Pre-dawn watch for me always means checking out trees for "Bumps" to watch...and they always fly off before enough light for a good pic:(
Thanks again!
Now onto other projects:)

That came out great Scott! I’m sure she’ll love it. Wonder if that twig will bud?

Re: Oak firewood owl3
The twig was thinking about it Bill
So I let the cut base sit for a morning after I trimmed it in a pine rosin/oil/citrus thinner mix...and I think it soaked some up...then a surface coat with the excess.
The rest of the branch in the house the buds DID develop further for about a week:)
Thanks Bill:)

Nice grain in your firewood Scott. Aside from the CNC machine, that makes it a pretty cheap hobby!

Thanks guys!
Inexpensive, rarely boring, and sometimes serendipitous
I like the challenge of Attempting to incorporate the wood feature.
I'm easily bored...so perfect for me:)
More intriguing than this small trial version of Mom's Bigger one...not many surprises in this piece..just Time! JUST finished the 1mm TBN Rough Finishing toolpath....machine is staying awake tonight all zeroed out with the .25mm TBN chucked,
I SHOULD just have to press the start button, uncaffeinated at Zero Dark Thirty...unless I lose power again of course. To tired to start the brand new thread now
Thanks again!!
