Chipload and the Janka scale

I am fairly new to VCarve and understand the basic premise of how the chipload is calculated and used.

In extending this, should the chipload value include the Janka value in some way? For example, if I work with a fairly soft wood like Linden and develop chiploads that work well for me, can the Janka scale be used to adjust the chipload for a harder wood like birch or maple? My hope is that the adjusted value may help me in determining maximum feed rates, etc.

Someone who has experience with a variety of woods may be able to answer this just based on experience.
