Carve Desktop help
Can anyone see what I'm doing wrong, carving way too deep on some parts of the design, don't know how to fix it.

Re: Carve Desktop help
If you're creating a v-carve toolpath you'll need to specify a flat depth on the toolpath to restrict how far down it cuts with vectors like that. Alternatively you would need to add additional vectors.
Another method is to use a profile toolpath set to be On the vector using a v-bit cutting to a depth of 1mm or so.

You can set a flat depth using a secondary tool as shone in the first pic. Alternately, you can draw an outline around the vectors, I used a rectangle, to make the eagle stand proud of the background (pic 2)
