This bit was recommended for the item I'm cutting...How do I enter it into my tools? I mean I know how and where but it has a degree of 4.28 and I don't see where to place that information for a Ball Nosed bit. Thanks!

Re: How to enter bit info
Enter AS a Tapered Ball Nose, and just plug the correct numbers in per the diagram.

Re: How to enter bit info
May I ask another question about this same file? I had another person make this model for me so I don't have or know much about Aspire or the 3D modeling. Is there a way to add to a model? I really need for my numbers inside the model to be embossed. Is there a way to make those numbers interchangeable into the model? Is this the best place for this question or should I start another topic?scottp55 wrote:No Problem:)

Re: How to enter bit info
Probably best to start a new topic with more relevant title.
You'll have to Import the model(AFTER setting up the new job to a size slightly larger than the model at Max Res (50X?)).
I'd probably do The Citadel info with some version of VCarving "On a 3D Model", but depends on the effect you want and a lot of other factors.
Ask for the best Vectric Tutorials to Work through also.
I'm busy making messes(and kinda cleaning them up) in the shop today
Good luck!
Include as much info on material/size/etc. of the project as you can, as well as pics!
