V Carve Pro 9.5 help needed

Post by subtleaccents »

I downloaded the trial version. Many questions answered, will be helpful. (I'm a slow learner from books) Since I have a lot to learn about this program I am looking to find a user in the southern NJ area that would be willing to help teach me. I have worked with a old 2d version of MasterCam mill for many years for basic CNC cutting on Corian. Now that I'm retired it's time to get into cutting 3D and Vcarve FUN stuff.

Machine I have is a Techno LC 4896 with Columbo tool changer.

Thanks for looking!

Jim

Jim,

Spend some time going through the video tutorials http://support.vectric.com/tutorials/V9 ... =1&order=1

Don't just watch them, you can download the project and work through them along with the video.

After years with Vectric products I still watch video tutorials, I learn (relearn) something every time.

As John says download the tutorial files & work through each tutorial with the video  Start at the beginning, don't cherry pick
Anything you don't understand then ask questions on the forum, main reason I settled on Vectric software was the help & support offered after I had actually purchased the software
