Toolpath help

Hello,

I 'm trying to run a toolpath around the outside vector of the attached file and and it keeps coming up that the tool won't fit in the area selected. I can run it on the vector and it works fine. I'm sure it is something very simple I'm missing. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Hi Mike,

your shape is an open vector. If you close it you shouldn't have a problem.

Hi Mike,

The vector is 'open' which shouldn't be a problem as VCarve Pro 4.6 can Profile around the Outside / Inside of open shapes. But in your design the Start and End nodes are overlapping as shown in the image below.

Node Edit > N
Drag one of the nodes on top of the other and the vector will snap closed.
