Usually when I do a pocket carve, VCarve, calculates the tool path from the inside out. This is preferred as some of my pockets clear all the way through the material. However, I have noticed that sometimes it does outside in. This is problematic because if it it does the outside first the material frees up before being cleared and causes damage. Is there any way to ensure the inside-out approach? I am carving a very complex piece that has a LOT of pocket carves. It is not reasonable to break it into profile carves and pocket carves (I think).
Any suggestions?
