quickly drwaing jogsaw shaped pieces

hi there
im newish to v carve. just got v carve pro 9
iv a shopbot cnc

a guy wants me to cut him some jigsaw shaped pieces of diferent designs. he plans to put artwork onto them. he wants to have 3-4 pices that join togehter to make a larger area.
iv tried downloading a clipart file of jigsaw pieces but they all seem to have loads of diferent pieces , could be 25-30 diferent shapes.


he wants a few diferent stles of pieces to offer a range of his artwork.
is there an easy way to draw the shapes so that they can be used to create a large area.

That was my first thought too, Mike!! Even thought of maybe go to WalMart, buy one with shapes he likes, assemble on a flatbed scanner, scan it and import the image to use as a tracing guide.

Probably plenty of puzzle patterns online though.

Do a google search for "four piece jigsaw" there are literally hundreds of images and files that you can use as the basis.

Remember that you'll need to adjust the pieces to account for the size of the bit you're using and clearance to get them to fit together.

thats a nice little set up. you can make it as big as you want and have flat sides if you want too
