Importing multiple 3D Models

Post by Breach Point »

I am unable to import more than one 3D model when putting together a project. Do I need Aspire in order to load more than one or is there a way to do it with just VCarve?

Sorry you need Aspire to upload more than one. But there is a work around. Edit your STL in an offline program. Combine models and get them in the position you want then import them into VCP as one STL.

Thank you. Think I'll just take the hit and purchase Aspire.

Great decision! I can practically guarantee you won't think of it as a "hit" after you discover how beneficial being an Aspire owner/user is for your work! You'll be able to do just about anything you want now.

And you know you have plenty of help available if you need it! It is not as "tough" to learn as some folks make it sound...not at all. The excellent tutorials, software manual and the fine people on this Forum make for a pleasant transition into much greater capability than you had before. Congratulations!

Very sound advice from a Master Craftsman. Your Man Box project is what pushed me the hardest towards Aspire. Just purchased it yesterday now have the whole weekend to go to tutorial city.

If you are into 3-d you will not regret getting aspire. My very first project was this one that hangs at our local Cowboy Church. I blended about 5 or 6 models together to create this.

I just need to agree. As soon as you see the need to combine models and need to edit, change, modify models, then Apsire becomes a very useful and creative tool.

Hi Dwayne,

Very glad to hear you are now an Aspire Owner, too. I am betting you will come up with many awesome creations. Thank you for the Master Craftsman compliment - but oh, how I wish it were so! Long way to go to reach that status, I'm afraid.
