I think I found a bug

Post by Ryan Slaback »

My students are designing box tops for their intro to Woods project. In doing so they have to v carve text into a piece. I attached a students file. In it the text toolpaths and carves irratically. If the text is not made in bold (uncheck box) it V-carves fine. The students have already changed their design and carved it without it bold, but this occurred on two different students projects using two different fonts. However, I was unable to reproduce it with some fonts.

Ryan, If you look closely at the text you will see several loops at the intersections. You need to edit them out and it should carve perfectly.
