Having trouble with Vectors

Post by olf20 »

Hi all! Hope everone is doing well.
I'm having trouble with the attached file. I want to Vcarve the Loop D Loop
boarder with a .250 Vbit. I have edited the nodes in the corners and when I try to Calculate it says that I have open vectors, but when I check for open vectors, Vcarve will tell me that there are no open vectors.
Not a big problem, but I keep having trouble not being able to delete waste material. I have scaled down my Preview Quality but still can not
get the waste material to disappear.
Any help will be appreciated! Thanks
Merry Christmas

If you zoom way in on the corners you will see that you have over laping vectors, also if you look around the outside perimeter you will find other places where the "D" over laps the outside rectangle. If you take care of all these over laps it should work fine.

I loaded your .crv and selectal all vectors, then did the "weld selected vectors" option. It cut without errors and I was able to delete the waste.
