Okay, great!
Kinda what I figured, but I wanted to ask before I went through all that...

Thanks,
Mark

Is there any way to make the clip art library see all the vector art files I have from www.vectorart.com?
I have many of their free downloaded files as well as some I purchased....
How about files I create in Illustrator?
How about the EPS files I have from all the Vector Art 3D files I bought?

Loving this upgrade!
Thanks,
Mark

trying to update to 8.014 from 8012.

Thanks.

Worked ok for me going from 13 to 14. Are you running the Shopbot version?

Hi,

Does any one know what are the changes or fixes in the latest release ver. 8.014 which was released yesterday.

Thanks

Zulfqar.

PS: patch update page only explains enhancement in the major upgrade version.

The rule of thumb with the minor updates is that they fix bugs that have been found (such as those with the pocketing) if you haven't suffered from the bugs that have been fixed then you're not going to notice any difference generally.

Hi Richard,

Thank you for the report, as you can guess the VCarve Pro patch to 8.016 was a duffer, sorry about that. We've issued a new version, 8.017, to resolve this problem.

If you attempted to update to VCarve Pro and saw the message above, or 8.016 is the version number being reported by VCarve Pro's Help->About, you may have trouble with this and subsequent updates as a result of the earlier patching problem. The best way to resolve any issues you may encounter with the update process is simply to log in to your portal account at https://portal.vectric.com/login and download the full VCarve Pro 8.017 program installer. Install this over your existing version 8 - your personal data files will not be affected - and you can be certain that you have a full, correct and up-to-date installation. Please also note that this issue only affected VCarve Pro.

Apologies - this one was my fault.

Edward.

Upgrade from 7 to 8

On the email we received about the upgrade cost, is that to the full Vcarve and not the limited desktop?

Hello CNCGG,

If you have an older version of VCarve Pro, the upgrade email that you should have received in March,
would be for VCarve Pro 8.0 rather than Desktop.

I hope that this helps, but if you have any questions, drop an email to either sales or support.

Cheers,

Mark.
