Download Vectric to new computer

Hi Guys
I downloaded vectric to my new computer.
Designing OK
Creating tool path OK
But, when I send it to the CNC I always get the same error message.
" Requested tool 1 not found in the tool table "
On my old computer line 2 is as follows,
"G21 G40 G49 G64 PO.03
On my new computer for the same design line 2 appears as
"G21 G40 G49 G64 M6 T1

I don't know why it generates the difference between 2 computers .
Hope someone may help as I need to get the new computer working properly.

Did you select the same post processor as you used on the old computer?

Which post processor are you using and are you using a newer version of VCarve than you were before?

The two post processors that match those commands are the EMC2 and LinuxCNC ones. Both have had the M6 T1 part in them since at least version 9 of VCarve. They have the P0.03 in them as well so I'm a bit confused why your one doesn't have that.

I'm guessing the post processor you were using previously wasn't a standard one or it was an old version.

I am using the same version of V Carve Pro
I am using LinuxCNC Arcs(mm)(*.ngc)
I don't fully understand all this , its just that its been working OK since 2017 on my old computer, and it all changed when I downloaded V Carve again onto my new computer this week....

All I can think is that you changed the post processor or installed a new one on your old computer and forgot that you had done it.

The post processor you're using hasn't changed since at least version 9 of the software and the "G21 G40 G49 G64 P0.03 M6 T1" line has always been there.

You can add the tool to your table in Linux CNC to stop the message appearing or edit the post processor.

Thank you Adrian for the help, I got up the courage to edit the pp and it has all turned out OK ........
