Joining vectors

Post by dbcriss »

When I use True Type fonts I'm okay. But when I use Single Line fonts I can't get past this screen, picture is below. It always says there are open vectors and I need to join them. I switch back to the design page and hit the J but it never shows any open or closed vectors. I'm not figuring this out. My goal is to engrave 3/4" tall single line text using the 1/8" end mill. Thanks, David

For single line fonts use the Profile toolpath and in the Machine Vectors section of the form select ON the vector.

That message is just telling you that you have multiple vectors selected and the software will only create one toolpath and not one for each of the open vectors. It should carve just fine if you continue.
