V Carve Option Not on My Program??

Post by cemeteryhaunts »

For the last few years, due to time, I’ve been doing my engraving and pocketing using the quick engrave with endmills. Which is fine but I wanna get into the V carving feature. Only to find that it’s not on my programs. I have the desktop version on cut2D, the pro version and the newest version of that. So I have 3 cut2D programs on my computer and not one is showing an icon for v carve. Am I missing something? I tried making alterations in the tool database, nothing changed. Even the vectric tutorials on YouTube already show this icon, and others I don’t have on their desktops.

Cut2D doesn't have the v-carve toolpath. You need VCarve or Aspire for that.

The hierarchy is Cut2D then VCarve then Aspire. Each program has everything that the one below it does but adds new features.
