I want to create a continuous toroid shape, (a donut, a hole within a hole)
Subtracting the smaller vector from the larger another won't do it, aside from drawing a cut0through (which I don;t want), I can't figure out how to do it. Any ideas?
Hole within a vector shape?

If you are talking a 3d version.
Unlikely in Cut2d, maybe VCarve with moulding toolpath, definitely in Aspire several different ways.
Maybe a photo of exactly what you want I can read you post several ways.
Look on the internet for STL, but Cut2d doesn't import STLs.

Purely 2D. Picture a hole within a circle.

One Ring to bring them all, and in the darkness bind them,

Re: Hole within a vector shape?
Not sure I understand the issue but it sounds like, for some reason, you don't want the inner circle cut out using a profile toolpath. Your other option is to use a pocket toolpath to mill all the material for the hole away.
Bit more information would be useful as to exactly what is you want to do and why you can't do it.

That’s it exactly! I can do it in two circular vectors, but I want one continuous shape.

If you want a solid donut object you can create a 3D model then import it. Is that what you want? What dimensions do you need? Height (Thickness), Outer Diameter, Inner Diameter?

Re: Hole within a vector shape?
Is the shape that adze_cnc posted what you're after? You said 2D so I'm assuming a model isn't what you're after?
If it is the only way to cut that with one vector is to create two toolpaths and use a big allowance offset on one to create the inner cut. Not sure why you would want to do that hence the lack of understanding.

Although a toroid is a 3D shape, so not sure exactly what is required. Both are possible.
