Overly sensitive mouse zooming in Cut2D pro

When attempting to zoom in on projects in Cut2D Pro using my mouse (Mac Bluetooth optical cordless), it is extremely sensitive and the image gets enlarged way too much or jumps around the screen and even off the screen. This only happens in Cut 2D Pro and none of my other applications. I'm using Parallels to run Vectric on my Mac and works just fine other than this bug. I did go into the Windows control panel and slowed my mouse speed to absolute minimum but it still occurs. Searching for a Vectric preferences to control this turned up no results. Any help provided is greatly appreciated.
