Join vector tool
I get to calculate and the box comes up and says "you can't just group all vectors some are open and you must join them first." I have never had any problems creating, grouping all and going on to saving tool path for cut. I have tried everything I know and I still can't get the JOIN tool to light up the little JOIN box to use? I have grouped, ungrouped every thing that has been created and still can't figure out what vectors are open and need to be JOINED. The new video tutorials in version 11 are not as in depth as in 9,5. Can anyone advise me to the trick in this...thanks for any and all help...Doug

Re: Join vector tool
It's the check mark on the drawing tab.
Click on it and then click on the help question mark at the top. If that doesn't help you will have to look it up in the help doc.

Re: Join vector tool
I think Cut2D has the vector validator but I'm not sure. If not, then sorry for suggesting it.
Turn node editing on by pressing "N" on the keyboard and zoom in really close on each node to see if they are close enough to join or overlapping. Post your file so we can all help.

Re: Join vector tool
Another thought. In the join tool, check the tolerance box for too large or too small of a gap.

Re: Join vector tool
Thanks for showing the vector validate icon to me, I knew it was there just have never had to use it. Sorry to say I have tried everything. I degrouped, took everything apart, the vector validater icon works just fine, the join vectors tool still offers nothing. I highlight each segment by them selves, degroup change the tolerance and still nothing works??? I hope some one out there has got the answer...Thanks DOUG

If you could upload the CRV file we may be able to offer better help.
