Duplicate Mirror Object

Post by ricklach »

I have created an object (2 sided) and placed registration holes in the object to align it when I flip it over. I need two of this object with the second being a mirror of the first. Should I create the tool path for the first object and save the two files (drawing and tool path), and then create the mirror object (can I use the same tool path - but updated) and save that set of files for the mirrored object. I am not certain what the work flow should be to create the two objects - one a mirror of the other. Any advice and assistance is solicited.

Either way works. What I do is name the file(s) so it is obvious what they are for. For example: "VCarve .25 EM side 1, Part A"
