Desktop vs V Carve Pro
I've been using Desktop for a few years and am considering upgrading to Pro. I'm just a in the garage tinkerer, make things for friends woodworker. Is it worth it? The only thing I've noticed is that some of the free projects only come in Pro and Aspire. Is there anything else I would gain?

Re: Desktop vs V Carve Pro
Hi Tom,
The VCarve free projects will work for either Desktop or Pro, except for a couple of them that exceed the 24” x 24” size limit of the Desktop version.
The larger projects were created before Desktop existed. I am careful now to design VCarve-compatible free projects to fit in the smaller limited working area of Desktop. (The Pro version has no size limit.)
