Text in 3D View
Text in 3D View
I'm new to VCarve Desktop and can't seem to get text to model in the 3D View. Is there something special I have to do to do this. So far I type in the text but it does not show up in the 3D View. Help!!!!!

Re: Text in 3D View
In 3D view you have to Toolpath it first, and then preview that toolpath....Program doesn't know what bit, or perhaps boundary will be used.
I hope that is what you're asking.

Re: Text in 3D View
As Scott said, 2D, such as text, won't show up in the 3D view until it is toolpath/carved from a toolpath. Once again asking these questions without details only leaves us assuming. Post your vcarve file and ask, it will much easier and less confusing to assist. I am still just a beginner, but I am willing to assist in basics when I can.sdpowell wrote:I'm new to VCarve Desktop and can't seem to get text to model in the 3D View.
