Is there a setting to help with the image as for not being so precise on lines when I take a picture of the pattern when I turn it to a it has terrible jagged lines

Hi,

I’m having a little trouble deciphering your question, but if you are simply referring to importing an image, just use the highest quality image you can find in order to reduce the pixelation you see on-screen.

Small and/or low quality images you may get from the internet are going to show lots of pixelation if you enlarge them.

The Trace Bitmap has a few controls.

After that the Fit Curve to Vector tool can help.
