I don't read the EULA in that way. To me it's saying you can create and sell items you've made using the free clipart provided it's not made in a mass production way such as moulds etc.JoeBlow wrote:Question regarding End User License Agreement....
I am using the current version of Aspire and in the clipart is a 3d model that is just perfect on a product I make. I have only prototyped a few and have not sold or given away any of these with the clipart model. I don't want to be that guy and I highly respect copyright laws. With that said, I have searched the internet for a similar model that I could purchase and use for resale on my product. No luck. I have considered hiring someone to make me a similar model but don't want to be that guy that does a few tweeks and stands by the "artistic expression" nonsense justification.

Thanks for the clarification on the included clipart Adrian. I re-read the clipart license agreement from Vectric and interpreted the part about "not for resale or redistribution......" as not being able to use on a product I make.
Clipart License
License Agreement Vector Art 3D, Inc. grants you a non-exclusive limited license to use the computer models as decorative or illustrative material that is included as part of or all of a computer model, CNC carved design or a part grown on rapid prototyping equipment (rendered in any substrates), produced for you, your employer, or a client, that is not for resale or redistribution as art for reproduction or as any form of stock design. You may not use any of the models in whole or in part, for multiple resales in the form of molded parts, castings or other mass production methods etc., without the express written permission of Vector Art 3D, Inc

Is there a way to import a bit profile that is different from the standard tools listed?
An example is a whiteside SC55 engraving bit but with a 45Deg point on the end.

Draw a vector around the comb's handle and mill. Then another vector around the teeth you want to mill.

Re: Support Pages and Frequently Asked Questions
On the product comparison page (I've attatched an image) it says vcarve desktop is capable of 4 sided machining. I cannot figure out how to enable the feature or set up a 4 sided machining job though. Can I get some help? Did I purchase the wrong software to do 4 sided manually indexed jobs? Was the advertising wrong?
