Made this for my nephew. walnut, natural stain, lacquer, 1/16" bn 6hrs 40 min on lid 11 3/4" x 8 1/4" x 3 1/4" had a small knot at bottom of v. I did a bad job fixing it trying to rush for xmas gift -Jeff

Wow, that came out beautifully. Love the finish and the detailed lid carving. Great job!!!

Very nice. The knot isn't a flaw. It's a feature and adds character.
