Re: 3dConnexion driver
It's not really a problem.
It's a device that isn't widely used and, as Vectric have said in the past, there are many more features that would benefit more people that still need to be done.

There are any news about Space Navigator in VCarve?

Re: 3dConnexion driver
Hello Ron,
This is a low priority for VCarve Pro, there are no immediate plans to implement support for this.
Cheers,
Mark.

Re: 3dConnexion driver
I feel sorry for you to say this but it seems to me that you are the only one who really worries about this.
I wouldn't hold my breath for it to become reality any time soon

Re: 3dConnexion driver
Thats not true. How many years has this request been going? For those that have a space mouse (like me), support across Vectric products would be great.Ms Wolffie wrote:I feel sorry for you to say this but it seems to me that you are the only one who really worries about this.

But what would be even better is support of pan. I have zoom, I have tilt, but I have no 3d pan on cut or Vcarve.

Re: 3dConnexion driver
To pan in 2D or 3D hold the middle mouse button or, with a two button mouse, hold ctrl and the right mouse button.
The view controls are on pages 3 and 4 of the VCarve help.
I stopped using my SpaceNavigator years ago. Unless you're running complex CAD systems all day they're not really worth the bother. A programmable mouse is far more useful IMO.

Re: 3dConnexion driver
Thanks Adrian, I have pan.
Perhaps it pays to read the manual after all...

Let's do the math....
10 requests over 12 years, less than 1 per year for 60,000+ users. Even at half that number of users there is a .000033 % chance of getting to the top of the list.

Re: 3dConnexion driver
I would love to be able to use a 3dConnexion puck with Aspire to twiddle the models around.
I have one in my left hand almost all day at work, and when I come home and do work in Aspire it is VERY frustrating.

Unfortunately, Gary's math is still valid.W.Travis.Scott wrote:when I come home and do work in Aspire it is VERY frustrating.

Re: 3dConnexion driver
I'm not entirely sure how one would benefit from using a 3DConnexion "puck" (?) in Aspire. The Space Mouse is great in Rhinoceros, Sketchup, and other such programs in that you can draw and manipulate the view using a 3D perspective viewport. I find its usefulness falls short when laying out in a "2D" view as a mousewheel is generally available for zoom in and out.

Re: 3dConnexion driver
In V-Carve Pro using a 2 button wheel mouse the user can either hold down the wheel to Pan (3D View) or both left and right mouse buttons at the same time to Pan (3D View). AHHHH, but this is CUT 3D hhhmmm have to download the trial to see if mouse functions are the same there.FastFarmer Wrote:

Just another thought!
