Hello to all,
I am cutting out an image in vcarve pro, but after I run my cutout out tool path, there is still some trimming to do all around the object. Is there a way to nudge my 3/16" end mill closer to the object so I could get a cleaner cut and not have to use my dremel ? I create the object in cut3d and than import it into vcarve pro. Thanks for any help!!!

Try adding a boundary offset to your finishing toolpath.

I see where the option is to add a boundary in vcarve pro but after i import the image from cut3d into vcarve pro it says i must have a 3d model before attempting to create a 3d tool path...

Sorry, I thought you had imported a stl object.
What kind of image is it an how are you cutting it?
Pictures or the vcp file would help....

That's a standard clipart from Vectric.
Go to the clipart tab and look under Plants & Fruit.
Double click on the flower to bring it into your project.
Position it where you want it.
Select the flower and under the Model tab click on Create vector boundary from selected component.
Select the newly created vector around the flower.
On the Toolpath tab create a roughing and finishing toolpath, make sure to set a boundary offset equal to at least half the diameter of the bit. Also click on Selected vectors under Machining Limit Boundary.
Create a Profile toolpath to cutout the flower using the boundary vector and select Machine vector Outside.
Hope this helps.
If not, post the crv file.

Why do you use Cut3D? You should just pull the clip are directly into VCarve unless you are running an older version.I create the object in cut3d and than import it into vcarve pro.
