This weekend I was able to spend a bit of time in the shop,
and cut an eagle, from the VectorArt_3D Machinist. The 3D
tool paths were opened in VC-Pro, centered on the material,
and added the 'texture'. I own an old ShopBot-PR machine,
and it took about 3 hours to complete the project.
The eagle was rough cut with a 1/4" round nose bit, and then
finish cut using a 1/8" round nose. The texture was cut using
a 1/2" round nose bit. The finished size is 9"x19". Still need to
do a bit of hand sanding, then off to stain and finish !!
Thanks, VectorArt & Vectric !!!

That looks cool with the textured background. I've cut a few things from VectorArt 3D and I'm always shocked how good they turn out and that my machine could cut something that cool looking.
Nice job Paul.
