Do you mean the wireframe preview in 3D mode of tool moves or the result of running a toolpath preview?

If it's the latter double check the Preview Simulation Quality setting on the Toolpaths menu,

Both styles of preview are as clear in 12 as they were in 11.5 for me.

Love the new look. It looks much more modern. The one thing I miss is the Save button that used to be on the Design Tab. The Open button is still there. If the toolpath/rapid moves intersect a keep out zone then you will see those icons to show you where the issue is in the 3D window. If you no longer want the keep out zone then you need to open the Keep Out Zone form (where you created it) and click Clear Zones. The toggle is for display rather tha...

Also you might want to look at exporting the sheets as PDF's (File menu, Export) as that will scale them to the printed sheet size automatically and might be easier than cutting/pasting.

Are you drawing in the 2D or 3D window? You can do both now and there is a lot more information displayed in 3D.

There are tooltips if you hover the mouse over the icons and for the icons on the top row of the 3D window the tool tips display at the bottom of the 3D window.

The other values are all correct though. If it was that surely all three would be wrong?

Check your values on the Material Setup om the toolpath tab. Sounds like you may have the Z1,Z2 or gap above material to a large value assuming your software uses those values in that screen.

Rather than tracing a bitmap it would be better to type it out with the text and an appropriate font. If there are some graphics associated it then manually tracing over the bitmap is often the way to go. I rarely auto trace anything. If you could attach a picture of the job it would make it easier ...

How come in V12 there are some components missing from the "File Operations" section? For example the Save, Copy, Paste, Undo and Redo button plus a couple others. Is there a way to get those back? I use some of them in previous versions. Go to the Options on the Edit menu and you can put them back...

what driver. only thing left is the xpro. the 24v power is wired correctly utube clip says check twice before powering on, lights come on the controller but computer still gets nothing. bought a data usb cable just to make sure. Did you install the driver for the USB?

How close does it need to be? Design and Make have square rosettes ready done that are pretty close.

If you do model it yourself it looks like a quarter rather than a half would be all you would need.
