Re: Buddha Cave in Firewood Oak (maybe)

Scott,
I love your artistic ability. I look at a piece of wood and see a piece of wood. You look at a piece of wood and see a figure captured within. Great work!!!!

Re: Zipper Clock

My apologizes, I must be getting senile in my old age. I can remember what happened 50 years ago however, ask me what I had for lunch yesterday and that's a different matter. Checking my history I upgraded to Aspire on June 7, 2019 and downloaded the file on June 15th. Probably one of the reasons I ...

Re: POM - Faucet Picture Frame

Michael,
Wow, you keep outdoing yourself !!!
I thought of another use for this project. Instead of the photo inside the frame I’m going to insert the logo of my local plumber’s company. Great piece to hang on their office wall.

This project may have to get moved up in my project queue.

Amazing work Scott,
Some day I “Aspire” to get to your level. (Pun intended)
I am curious about your mounting board. Appears to be some type of camlock?

Re: THE DUST BOOT FOR THE PIRANHA FX

Actually EG, I tapped two additional holes into the spindle mounting plate and drilled a clearance hole for the spindle mount bolts so I didn’t disturb the existing bolts.

Re: THE DUST BOOT FOR THE PIRANHA FX

Elderly Gent, I didn't like the dust boot that came with my Shark because I'm one of those who likes to see what I'm cutting. I laid up a fiberglass nozzle and cut the wood attaching pieces. Fully adjustable and works great. Picks up about 90% of the chips and doesn't interfere with bit changing. Du...

Sweet Ted,
I’m curious as to where you “browse” for models. As a newbie to 3D carving always on the lookout for sources.

Michaels Big bank

Been busy setting up my new machine but finally completed a project I had cut previously on a different machine. It's another of Michael's POM. The Big Bank The "bills" are cut from pine, the case is walnut and the top insert is maple. Oil finish on the walnut. I carved his name on one end Big Bank....
