I don't know why Gary. Mine works perfect in any program. It's standard true type fonts. If you use Windows Explorer you should get a message like "Installing font" when copying to x:\win\font Folder. Any other file explorer could be unstable when installing fonts. If you bought them I suppose you c...

When I first downloaded the demo about 1 year ago, it did not work with my machine. But the very userfriendly interface made me interested and curious! I asked Tony by email and in minutes! (I think even it was a Sunday) he made a special post processor for my machine. After on more (fast) correctio...

mr Bond, just wanted to add my congrats, very nice sign and a great memento for the happy couple. I think when you combine our 3D mdoels with a nice 2D layout and toolpaths in VCP it is a powerful combination - especially when you do such a nice job of it. Cheers, James PS - Can I put the images in...

That came out great! The detail and finish is excellent. Would you please provide more information on the laminated oak you used. Did you glue it up yourself or is it something available in your area? Thanks, Tim Thanks Tim I buy the oak from the local joinery carpentry (correct word?) It's used fo...

I don't know if it's me, the forum or you picture.. but I can't view it. And about what you want to do.. I did not realize that it was only a embossed effect you wanted to do. I thought you wanted the 3D effect that can come out of a 3D greyscale image. Great if you solved your problem! :) EDIT: And...

Just want to make clear that it is actually possible to use PhotoVCarve even if I guess not many here use the 3D function. If you have a 3D greyscale height map you can cut it without problem. The problem is to get the 3D greyscale height map. You have no use of the "greyscales" in your picture. The...

Only thing I can tell you is that you are on deep water.
Making a 3D greyscale from that picture is nothing you do as a newbie.
Even a professional will have a lot of work I suppose...
