Jim told me that with the servos and the laser that they have run the machines up to 1200 ipm and not lost the buffer b...

You can type in how many degrees to rotate using the rotate button.
Also If you use the move button instead of just double clicking you can be very exact with your placements.

I always just use whatever I have aroung that is latex. The latex keeps the resins from eating the foam. Oil based primers can also eat the foam. I use to make molds for bowls in items we built and any latex seemed to work

I am pretty sure that just using vcarve you will have to have striaght sides. The only way to get tapered ones from your ball nose is to 3d cut the trays.

Hello,
Poly or any laquar finish will melt. I believe that all you can do is to mineral oil it and it will need to be done again when ever it is looking dry.

A Request

Hello Tony and Brain,

Maybe in one of the versions coming up you could include a print. It would be nice to be able to print in 2d view as well as 3d right from the program.

Hello We have cut oak, maple, birch, pine, aspen, fur, sign foam, corian, mdf, and some other things. The hard woods I think are the best for wood. The fur was a bit sappy and coated the bits, so I did not much like that. Sign foam is cool stuff and takes the details perfect Roughing with a 3/8 mill...

I have heard that both dremels and roto zips have lots of play in the bearings and shaft. I think that you are deflecting. what RPM are you running at? I would try to run RPMs as fast as you can with a sharp bit and see if you are still having the problem. Then I would back off your speed untill you...

In the tool selection box right above the plung rate is a pull down menu for "in per sec" or "in per min" or whatever you want. I think that this will fix your problem
