Re: Medieval Themed Master Bedroom
Your Art is a pleasure to the senses! I particularly like the dragon panel on your corner piece! :) I imagine there was a large sigh of accomplishment upon finishing the last piece. (although something that big is never done until it's out the door...It's like a painting, it just stopped at an inter...

Re: STL pocket only issue
Carefully under high preview resolution, check the upper edge of the mold for slightly rough appearance. I was a fiberglass moldmaker for a period, and saw a couple defects repeated a dozen time before I took the mold back for a mod. IF rough, then in "Model" tab "add zero plane" to define the edge ...

Re: Urn
VERY nice job!
Always been a fan of Greene and Greene, and so I Love the job:)
Also like the fly fisherman with the wood grain...."Fishing in Infinite Waters" popped into my head.
(my Dad must be there somewhere:)
All in all it gives a feel you can be proud of!

Re: End grain cutting board
Another beautiful piece Ron!
(I like the "glint" in the hawk's eye!)
scott
OH,
I loved the Viking one too,
but was giving a cutting board to a guy who loves axes really a good idea?

Re: Wise Man in Mahogany
Wise Man is only 2.625" in direction of the raster...and with my mods it pretty much does that in all axis. 2 IPS is going pretty good for feathers, beads, wood grain, and hair in a 1+ second pass. wise man rest finish on30 .005.jpg Most of my pieces are 3-15 square inches. I'm very happy with the res...

Re: Wise Man in Mahogany
Thanks Ed! :) And now with my new 18-55 lens I can go Macro pics to show all the tiny mistakes. I'll have to stock up with magnifying lenses to give away with my pieces. :) Wonder if anybody sells .1mm TBNs :) Kinda like that model...He looks like has ALL the T-shirts...AND doesn't suffer fools ligh...

Re: Wise Man in Mahogany
Thanks a LOT guys! :) That makes my first two jobs, not going the extra mile with the .005" bit. :( Hoping it's just getting back into the swing of things(and limited to two espressos a day by Doc). This particular model I was watching the preview while the .25mm TBN was cutting. I couldn't follow t...

Re: Wise Man in Mahogany
Hey Scott :) I've already noticed I made 2 mistkes :) Program was running and it showed 1.5 IPS in all axis instead of 2" Per Second, AND I forgot to check that I was running with Shopbot "Brady's standard 3D tweak" mode  JUST checked and I was only 40% done. Didn't notice I was running at 3/4...

Wise Man in Mahogany
Oh well....flying by the seat of my pants seems to be my MO :) Spent the morning looking for a piece of wood for a different model 2023-04-27 12_51_43-Window.jpg Then ran across a little chunk of wood with no real grain good for skin tone, so swapped to a native American file(3DWAV). By the time I g...
