Have you tried a two-rail sweep? Make a tiny (.005) circle in the middle, and then a circle the diameter of your nose. Do two rail sweep with "fill center" checked.

Great video, Ted. Lots of good tips, I learned a lot.
When cutting the veneer, did you leave any allowance so the parts fit flat with no interference with each other?

And the profile cutout also is cutting bigger than the the rest of the project by a little over an 1/8” how can I get rid of that? A compression bit is meant to give two smooth sides in one pass. This is a double-sided carve, so not the best bit to use.

Our very popular sheriff is retiring this year.
This will be from the non-deputy employees.
Cherry with cherry stain and poly finish.
Modeled in Aspire. No rough cut, just finish cut with 1/8" TBN. Letters with a 60 deg V bit.
