I have the same problem. In the new style forum none of the categories will show me that there are new posts. As a result I have to also look and try to remember what I have and have not read. At least it keeps me coming back on a daily basis. Hate to think what is going to happen when I go away for...

Circles
Don't know what happened then I posted a reply and it seemed to disappear into the ether. If you could have a look it would be mu...

Circles
HI guys,
Just a real short question, Has anyone else had the problem that their circles are not coming out as circles but rather as elipses. I don't know wether it is with Vcarve or again with my post processor.

Awesome, that is something I have been tryong to get into for ages. How did you cut the gears. I am having big problems getting anything like that to cut properly. Is it possible to post the crv file for one gear which would give me a good start to understanding how to go about cutting the others. T...

Hi guys Just a short question. I make the odd pen out of different materials and thought it would be good if I could engrave or very lightly v-carve a logo a message or name into the wood or whatever the pen is made from. This entails v-carving onto a curved surface albeit a very slight curve. Is th...

Depth of cut?
Hi all, I am finally getting close to getting my machine up and running. I have been busily preparing for the first project and have been playing with VCarve learning how to use the program. I am most mightily impressed but have one small problem. If in my project I specify a thickness of .5 inch an...
