Re: V12 for Mac Silicon, please?
Here is another viewpoint for you. A lot of the people on this forum are retired. I am one of them. Let's say I wanted to get into the cnc world and I would like a good product, like Aspire. Oh great, I would have to shell out $2,000 just to get started , then if I wanted to stay current, about $40...

Re: Distance Between 2 Vectors
Can the distance between 2 vectors (circles center or square edeges) be adjusted That tool is located in "Transform Objects" and is called "Move Selected Objects". Use different layers to make it easier, but center one over the other. Then choose "Relative". Then use the above tool to move the sele...

Re: V12 for Mac Silicon, please?
I've never seen the need for the decision of MacOS OR Windows. In 2009, I found great personal advantage in having MacOS in my system, but I didn't get rid of my PCs where I was programming odd jobs for customers. PCs for Vectric software are cheap with high enough performance to make them ubiquitou...

Re: Any AI masterpieces ?
There's something by her right shoulder that didn't make it through the Star Trek Transporter very well.
I always look at the hands for a clue to how good the AI crap is. Her left hand looks fine, but not her right.

You could use CTRL-F (or CMD-F) to initiate a Find dialog which would search a page.
You could print it to a PDF file and search there.

Re: Double sided job
When I set up a double sided job and import my file for the first side and then copy that to the second side ... If you didn't have the object centered on the first side, then it would not be centered on the second side either and would appear to shift when you change sides. You didn't say which wa...

Nope. I never feel the need to learn everything about something before I learn anything about it. I haven't wasted any wood in a long time, but I sure busted up some stock in the beginning.foursailing wrote: ↑Sun Feb 18, 2024 4:16 pm.... Curious if any others have signed up for his class.

Or it could be that you have array-copied multiples of the same part; one on top of the other. Click on (select by clicking) one part and see if deleting it leaves another underneath it.

Re: Do I understand the XY datum offset correctly?
... If I want to use the home position but place the workpiece 2" up from the X axis and 2" in from the Y axis (to allow for clamping on all sides) .... You can easily look at the effects of adding datum offsets with a test piece. The preview will show you what is going on if you make it show the o...

Re: New FREE Project - Making Tic Tac Toe Game
Just a practical suggestion to this fine looking project. I found out after the first marble game that I built, that marbles played during a game are much more stable in a properly sized* socket built with a flat end mill rather than a ball end mill. The rounded socket acts like a ramp and aids the ...

"If you buy or upgrade to the latest version of the software now you’ll be the first to get V12 in your V&CO account when it’s released."
Well, there's a statement that should be further explained! What about us poor suckers that kept up-to-date all along?
