Both of those products are very expensive compared to the cost of wood. But they would work very well. You will have to glue some sheets to get that thickness.

Don't they sell the cone?

If you wanted to you could make a cone by milling it and then fitting the old one over it or slip the cone into the existing paper. I would be concerned of damaging what is around it.
