Re: Version 9.0 is here. Upgrade Now!

Is any new clip art included that didn't come with 8.5? There is a link to "V9 Additional Clipart" when you log in to the Portal. It's near the end of the list of clipart categories. Phil Phil, Are you referencing the V9 3D Tabs Clipart for VCarve clip art? If not where in the portal do you see thi...

Re: Version 9.0 is here. Upgrade Now!

Anyone know if there a PDF version for the 9.0 vcarve desktop yet?

There no reference link in the start up as there was with 8.5.

Thanks

Re: Corian with Vcarving

When I carve from Ash I don't get the marks.

I think I change to a new bit, maybe it becoming dull?

Corian with Vcarving

So I made my first attempt with some carving with vcarve tonight. When the final cut with a 1/8 ball nose it make some noticeable tooling marks in the sign which is a pocket (using from D&M mom's garden). So what the best way to get these tooling marks out? Do folks using corian to carve for this re...

Save Z issue

So I have been cutting fine with a save z of 2 mm fine which is setup on the top right in material setup.

Now today for some reason it forces me to set it to 6.001 mm in all projects unless previously saved.

What would force this change?

Besides the email you can also login to the Designandmake.com site and go to "view account" . You see my orders with a small arrow in the lower right of the order. It gives you a download option.

Re: Thanksgiving wreath slows down

I using Universal Gcode Sender on Linux on the Raspberry PI 3. Unfortunately the Intelli-Gcode looks like its GRBL only.

I sent some larger gcode files at 125 - 200K with no issues. Never had a memory buffer issue.. Not that it could not be a memory
issue.

The final has about 500,000 lines of gcode. It starts at about 20 minutes in it nearly stops. Only moving about 2 mm every 5 minute...
