Hi Adz, I'm sorry I'm being a bit slow; I'm returning to my wood carvings having been away from it for so long. Using 2 roughing tools is something I'd never even considered but it makes good sense. How to call up another tool I'm not sure how to do unless we modify the code manually?? I'm using Mac...

Cheers Martin, I'm using Mach4 so I can change the feed rate on the fly, but I don't thing I can change the plunge rate. Unless anyone knows different with Mach4.

I could halt at the tool change and use the editor to change the plunge rate in my code and the carry on as normal yes / no ?

I could use some help with my latest piece which is still running after 3 hours. It's an oval shaped bowl 600 x 250 with horses mapped to the surface of the bowl. Whatever happened to 'Map object to shape? I'm sure I've used that command in the past. Basically, I've created an oval vector, then created a shape from it and gave it depth and angle. Can anyone spot where I have gone wrong.
The area encircled in red has not been cut. I dont want that lump sticking up there.
My model is 2mm below the surface I'm using a 6mm 2 fluted roughing tool and I'm selectin Model boundary.
