It looks like you glued 5 flat (1/8" thick) sheets together to get the piece from which you cut the ribbon. How did you produce those 1/8" sheets? Yeah I know, nobody needs more little boxes. But I wanted to experiment with a different hinge design. I got really small metal hinges and a really small (2mm) router bit. There are slots cut with the 2mm bit that were just big enough for the wings of the hinges, and the hinge is glued into the slot...
