I typically cut my middle inserts anywhere from .375 to .45 inches deep. The thickness of my cutting boards varies from 1 to 1.5 inches thick. All the boards are either Maple or Walnut or a mix of both.

For the inlays I used walnut, Maple, Yellow Heart & Bloodwood. Foe the bigger inlay pieces I use the traditional inlay method. The smaller inlays are done using the V inlay method.

Just 8 more boards to complete.
