Re: Christmas Gift to Daughter

-Ed- I am not sure what type of glue they were using in that video you saw, there are so many different types. I myself have always used titebond II premium wood glue for bonding or laminating wood together. I usally apply enough glue to get both pieces completely covered with an even coat (don't ap...

Christmas Gift to Daughter

IMG_1057.JPG My daughter has become a runner of sorts with a few girl friends. On weekends they like to run 5K, 10K, and of lately half marathons. About a month ago four of them got together to run a relay marathon. Each runner ran a set amount of time over a 24 hour period. Oh forgot to mention th...

Gadget Install Problem

I can download the gadgets with no problem, but when I go to install, I get a prompt message that says failed to install. This happens when I go from the gadgets/install new gadget tool bar and the same thing happens when I try to download from the Vectric support gadget library. When I double click...

Re: Clipart

I have used a HVLP SPRAY SYSTEM for the past 25 years. What I can say for sure is with the right setting your unlimited to the type of finish you want to achieve. With the correct fluid set you are able to control the amount of product(s) you want to apply. The proper air setting will help you get a...

Re: Notes on the Zank VCarve inlay process.

I have got these notes downloaded for easy access to refer to when designing a project. I have already caught a few things that I can use on my next inlay. It is a...

Re: HDU Sign

I totally agree with Savannadan, What an awesome job on the sign.
I really like the rope accent around the sign itself. I also would like
more information on how you put this project together.
Great work hope to see more from you on the forum

Re: VCarve Inlay clean-up

You could also create a flattening toolpath with a larger EM bit. I normally skim the top by .005 a few times to get my self within reason relative to the height of the inlay board. when I see I'm close I can than add another inlay (male) piece. If you don't need to add another piece than Just run y...

I would bet a dollar to a doughnut, That Adrian is right.
It sure looks like a toolpath for a drill hole to me. That
is why when you try to delete you can't uncheck in your
toolpaths tab.
