Re: Simulate a laser cutting through a project
I was doing a silhouette. I made the material black and the pockets white. I first pocketed the interior cuts, that worked. So then I drew a box around the entire object and pocketed the area between the two in white and it looks great. Now I can show the person what it should look like and I can al...

Simulate a laser cutting through a project
I would like to use Aspire 11.5 to simulate cutting through a piece of wood even though I do not current have a laser to do this. I would like to design it in Aspire, simulate a cut to find out errors, correct any errors and then save as a different file type and export it to other laser software. S...

Re: Need help with Trim objects
That is exactly what I wanted to do. However, your last example seems to show that sometimes it doesn't work. I will do a simple
example like your star and box and go from there. I was doing the Trim Object,
Thank you for all of your help.

I can try that, however, I have seen where people use the trim object that trims everything properly and closes all of the vectors. I must be doing something that is not correct.

Need help with Trim objects
I am having a problem with trim objects. I purchased a file and imported it in Aspire. I also cut an image from an Aspire file and cut and pasted into the new file. The imported file is on layer Top, the other is on layer Eagle. My problem is that after I paste and reposition the eagle and then do a...

Re: Tormach post processor
Adrain Thank you, I was not sure if it was that one or Mach3. I belong to a makerspace that has the Tormach 770 and I really don't use the machine. However we have Vcarve Pro Makerspace Edition and a member was wondering what post processor to use. He wanted to do nesting which he could not do with ...

Re: How is this being selected and cut?
That was the problem. I did not look hard enough. Next time (if that ever happens), I know that I should just keep magnify the area until I find and delete it.
Thanks again

I tried deleting everything around that body. I will "look" again.
Thank you.

How is this being selected and cut?
This is driving me crazy (which isn't hard to do!). I attached a copy of the screen, the hole that gets created, I have no idea how it got there. I tried to move just the body to a different sheet and the hole follows. Even verifying that it happens to someone else would be nice, a solution would ev...

Re: How to printout a drawing
Thank you, I did it through Affinity Designer, I was just wondering if I could have done it just in Aspire. Sometimes what seems like a simple thing to do is not.
Take care.

How to printout a drawing
It's silly, however I can't figure out how to do this. My wife wants to decorate a cake for my granddaughter. So she sent us a drawing of a swan that I enlarged to be about 7 inches by 7 inches that fit on a 11 by 8.5 inch board and then I printed it out. I thought that the print would be a swan app...
