It depends primarily on your stepover, bit size, feedrate, and to a lesser extent the materia size, and the complexity of the design Doing 3D machining usually doesn't place much load on the bit (other than the first cut). Select your square
Click on Node editing
Right-click on the place where you want it to start the cut
Choose "Insert Point"
right-click on the newly inserted point and select "Make Start Point"

Now when you generate the toolpath for the square it will start the cut at that point.
