Re: Are .svg's that fussy?
I sometimes have that problem with svg files and use Inkscape to open them, do a resize under edit and then save. Most of them open fine when I do that. It could be the resizing and it could be saving it under a different svg. I'd be interested if that works for your svg file and see if the jaggies ...

Re: Teak Wood 'Keepsake Box'
i agree, nice looking box. You could add a tray much like CarveOne did for the Paradise Box. Just do a search and you'll find the post here: viewtopic.php?f=29&t=22766&p=164516&hilit=Paradise+Box+Tray+Carveone#p164516 Your wife did an excellent job on the liner. I always seem to struggle with those.

20 hours for a 5"x7" carve. I have one that shows 19+hours of carve but that was on a much larger workpiece. I guess I won't be able to qualify for the knucklehead club. I won't worry about that since I have to convince that mean woman I live with to let me upgrade my Aspire package. Yes, she's the ...

Re: Importing SVG
I run into that problem on occasion and one thing that works for me is to go under Edit and Resize Page to Selection or I might Save As to a different SVG format or PDF. When those don't work it's usually time for me to see if a bitmap image conversion, if there is a bitmap file available, would do ...

Re: Antique gas pump
Love those old pumps. I had an uncle who let me use his ford ranchero for dates on the weekend. I got gas from the pump at his house. I also had to get bales of hay from the barn to feed his cattle. The cattle knew when the cafeteria wagon was coming with me honking the horn. Glad you shared it. Tha...

His plans are posted in a pdf file. I use Adobe Acrobat and extract what pages I need. They usually have duplicate vectors that need to be deleted.

When I first saw this I was thinking Bacon slices would be nice and then realized it's not for a Breakfast event it's for Easter. Always hungry. Martin, the Steve Good's scrollsaw site has lots of graphics you can use for free. Plenty of Bunnies & Chicks. I'm sure he would be tickled a lot that his ...

Re: WHowe to search the manual
Adrian is correct about the interactive version. But if you don't have internet access on your shop computer and want to be able to have the manual do the Single Page click and then when it converts you'll find PDF at the bottom of the page. Right click on it and save it on a thumb drive and take th...
